We held our AGM on Thursday 10th November in the Crowne Plaza, Northwood. A big thank you to the hotel who kindly gave us the room for free. They even gave us free tea and coffee.
Check out the documents below which give you a rundown of what we discussed.
You will see that there are two particularly exciting bits of news; firstly, the plans for our Social Area have been drawn up and secondly we were given a €1,000 grant from the Community Foundation to put towards the construction of raised beds. Check out the presentation to see the visuals for these projects. The Conservation Volunteers who are great friends of the garden are going to help us with the R&R area. These two projects will keep us busy over the winter months. So any members who have DIY or construction skills will be particularly welcome in the garden over in the coming weeks.
Apart from that you will see our Constitution has been ratified and the Committee from last year (with the exception of Mick Keogh) have all agreed to stay on for the coming year. Thanks to Mick for all his help - especially with the polytunnel! And hopefully we'll see him in the garden as usual anyway.
